• Police looking for public's help to identify hammer wielding man who robbed Bristol County convenience store (fallriverreporter.com) — Attleboro police are asking for your help identifying a man who allegedly robbed Vista Donuts on Washington Street in South Attleboro early Sunday while armed with a claw hammer. The suspect, described as a thin white man in his late 20s to early 30s, fled on foot with a distinctive backpack. Anyone who recognizes him is urged to contact Detective Alexander D'Agostino.
   

• Capron Park Zoo mourns zookeeper Kayla St. George after sudden death (turnto10.com) — Capron Park Zoo and the Attleboro community are mourning zookeeper Kayla St. George, 39, who died this week after a stroke following a workday at the zoo. Her father recalls her lifelong passion for animals and notes recent stress over the zoo's uncertain future. The family hopes her story raises awareness of stroke warning signs and asks for donations to the zoo in her memory.
