ATTLEBORO, MA —As colder temperatures and the holiday season approach, Attleboro is coming together to help families facing food insecurity.

The city's second annual City Food Drive will return Saturday, Nov. 14, giving residents an opportunity to lend a helping hand to those in need.

From 9 a.m. to noon, residents can drop off unexpired canned goods and other nonperishable food items at Attleboro City Hall, located at 77 Park St.

This year's food drive is sponsored by local elected officials as part of an effort to support residents who may be struggling to put food on the table.

With the holidays just around the corner, the event offers residents a simple way to give back to their community and help ensure their neighbors have access to food.

Whether it's a few canned goods or a bag of pantry staples, every donation will bring a smile to a stranger.
