Annual Bus Trip to NYC Fabric & Fashion District
The Creative Sewing Studio in North Attleboro, a venue for sewing, art, and discovery, is expanding their outlets for creative expression.

You don’t have to be a fashionista to enjoy this year’s Creative Sewing Studio day trip to New York City’s Fashion District, Saturday, October 22nd. Seats are still available for anyone over the age of thirteen who would like to attend.
A luxury chartered bus will leave the Creative Sewing Studio (420 South Washington Street, North Attleboro) at 7:15 a.m., expected to return around 9:45 p.m. On it will be dozens of fun-loving people who are either sewing students at the studio or simply adventurous individuals. In addition to shopping dozens of stores for unique fabrics, trims and notions participants may too decide to enjoy a meal, take in a show or sight see.
Says Studio owner, Mikala Cash, “This is a great way to learn about this season’s trends and to get some deals on fabrics, trims, and notions. This year we’re seeing textured fabrics that use floral and 3D printing, drawing on nature and whimsy to create big visuals that makes you think of volcanoes and waves. We’re also seeing the return of Gothic velvets and velours. And much like the yin-yang of life, this season we can take joy in combining soft materials with structured forms.”
