ATTLEBORO, MA — A 53-year-old Rhode Island man was arrested Saturday after kicking a 6-year-old girl at the Attleboro Chuck E Cheese's over game tokens, according to police. Daniel Lafayette, of North Smithfield, told police the girl was trying to steal his tokens at the Attleboro entertainment center and restaurant. The girl's mother told police the girl was trying to help pick them up when he kicked her. Lafayette pleaded not guilty to an assault and battery charge on Monday. He was freed on $500 cash bail.
