Attleboro Police Seek Couple Who Paid Counterfeit Cash For Coffee

ATTLEBORO, MA — Attleboro police are seeking the public's help identifying a couple who paid for their Dunkin' Donuts order with a fake $100 bill. Police said the counterfeit cash coffee caper happened Dec. 7 at the South Avenue Dunkin' Donuts location.

Police said the U.S. currency bill was serial number #LGQ03229158 and had pink Chinese characters on both sides of the bill. The suspects left in a gray or silver sedan.

Anyone who can help identify or locate either or both of the suspects, or knows of a similar incident in the area, is asked to call Attleboro Police Officer Vanessa Walsh-Diaz at 508-222-1212 and reference case #1900082243.
