Attleboro Murder: Victim Shot; Police Search For Suspects
A 34-year-old man was shot to death in Attleboro on South Avenue and police were searching for suspects.

ATTLEBORO, MA – A 34-year-old man was shot and killed in Attleboro Monday night, according to authorities. Officers responded to 148 South Ave. around 11 p.m. Monday night for reports of shots fired. The victim, suffering from gunshot wounds, was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, according to Attleboro Police Chief Kyle Heagney.
He was later pronounced dead. The individual was not identified as of Tuesday afternoon.
Heagney said the suspect may have wanted marijuana from the home. Police are searching for a burgundy Jeep, which the suspect may have used to flee the scene. No arrests were announced as of Tuesday afternoon.
