Attleboro Woman Gets National Anthem Nod

Amber Dias Almeida of Attleboro, MA performed the national anthem during the New England Revolution’s home match at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, July 7 against the Seattle Sounders FC. Almeida earned the opportunity to sing at a Revs match through the team’s the sixth annual New England Revolution National Anthem Auditions on April 3.

During her audition, Amber performed a classic rendition of Amazing Grace edging out the competition and becoming one of three winners chosen to perform this season. Other winners included Julia Howard of Southborough, MA, and Sophie Lawry of Westfield, MA.
