Bill Brandon, MD, Joins Manet CHC, Taunton
Family Medicine Physician seeing patients of all ages from Taunton, AttleboroRaynham,

Manet Community Health Center welcomes the return of one its senior physicians, William Brandon, MD, MPH, MHA, who will see patients at Manet’s Taunton practice site, 1 Washington Street. Dr. Brandon served as chief medical officer at Manet from 2003 to 2010.
“We are so glad to have Bill back with us. He is a dedicated and compassionate doctor who brings to Manet a powerful mix of clinical and administrative experience,” says Cynthia Sierra, Manet’s Chief Executive Officer. “He joins a talented roster of physician leaders at Manet and we are extremely fortunate that Bill will be bringing his wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise to our patients in Taunton.”
Dr. Brandon is a family medicine physician who has served as medical director for numerous community health centers, multispecialty private practices and physician networks. He will see patients of all ages at Manet’s Taunton practice site, where he joins an experienced and caring team of providers, including Gregory Smith, MD, Jessica Chen, MD, Christine Basile, FNP-C and Charlette Hines, FNP-BC.

Dr. Brandon earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh, Shadyside Hospital. He went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health, where he also completed his post-doctoral fellowship in Cardiovascular Epidemiology. His credentials also include a fellowship with the National Institute of Program Director Development from the American Academy of Family Physicians, certificates from the University of New Orleans, Ochsner Clinic in Advanced Physician Executive Management Program and an Executive Master of Science in Health Care Management from the University of New Orleans College of Business. He also earned a certificate in addiction counseling at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in May of 2016 and he is certified for enhanced suboxone prescribing and as a Physician Examiner for Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators.
Manet’s Taunton site opened in 2014 with the support of a U.S. Health Resources and Services
Administration, Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Health Center Program, Affordable Care
Act grant to address the unmet health needs in the communities of Taunton, Raynham, Attleboro, Norton, Berkley and Middleboro. Since it’s opening, the site has expanded from three exam rooms to six, with another eight to be added this summer. All providers at the site are accepting new patients.
