Bristol County Savings Bank's Carl Begin Earns Graduate Degree and Academic Excellence Award from Bentley University

June 13, 2017 -- Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) announces that Carl M. Begin, a Vice President/Investment Officer with the Bank’s Financial Advisory Services division based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, recently earned his Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) degree from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business in Waltham, Massachusetts and was awarded the Professor E. William Dandes Award for Graduate Academic Excellence at its commencement ceremony. Begin was recognized with the award for graduating with the highest grade point average. He resides in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner, Begin manages client portfolios, monitors investment performance and administers the investment offerings of the Bank’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) division. He joined FAS, formerly Anawon Trust, in 2006 as an Assistant Vice President and was named Vice President in 2010. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Financial Advisor at StrategicPoint Investment Advisors, LLC in Providence, Rhode Island and Financial Planning Associate at Weston Financial Group in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Begin earned his bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Economics from Bryant University, Smithfield, Rhode Island.
