Child Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Attleboro: Report
An Attleboro collision between the car and bicycle is now is now under investigation.
ATTLEBORO, MA — A child was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle in Attleboro on Monday afternoon, according to a report from WPRI.
The crash happened near the intersection of Pearl and Parker streets. The 8-year-old child was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, following the crash, though the extent of their injuries has not been revealed. Police said the child was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The driver remained at the scene following the crash. The incident remains under investigation by Attleboro police.
