Coastline Show Chorus Presents: Four A Cappella Workshops
free singing workshop women choir a-cappella
Coastline Show Chorus, New England’s award winning chorus, is offering a series of four, free, a cappella workshops to area women. These workshops will be held on four consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning on February 22, 2017. The workshops will start at 6:45 PM each Wednesday evening at the Coastline rehearsal site, the La Salette Shrine Welcome Center (947 Park Street, Attleboro MA).
Included in these free workshops are: small group voice lessons, sheet music & learning media, education sessions with Coastline’s Director, Gail Jencik, & the chorus music leadership team, and opportunities to sing with the 60+ voice Coastline Show Chorus. Ms. Jencik is a professional choreographer, a Sweet Adelines International Faculty member and a choral performance coach with world-wide experience.
The workshops are open to all area women ages 16 to 60+. (Younger than 16? – Come with a parent or guardian.) NO prior singing experience is required, only a love of singing. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director.
So, if you sing in the shower or sing along to the radio, these workshops are designed for you. Coastline invites you to four weeks of singing, education, friendship and fun! Come for the music, stay for the friendship and harmony. We’re saving a place for you.
