Open Auditons for Attleboro Community Theatre’s Barefoot in the Park

Attleboro Community Theatre (ACT) is pleased to announce the first show in its 56th season, “Barefoot in the Park,” a romantic comedy by Neil Simon.  Corie and Paul Bratter are newlyweds who live in an apartment on the top floor of a brownstone in New York City.  Paul is a conservative attorney while Corie is full of spontaneity. During the course of four days, the young couple contends with a variety of building problems, the several long flights of stairs to their apartment, an interesting neighbor, and Corie’s well-meaning mother. Through it all, Corie would like to teach her new husband to relax and learn the fun of running “barefoot in the park.” This Neil Simon classic will be directed by Bill Castro.
