Seekonk Public Library’s Outdoor Summer Concert Series Presents: Atwater-Donnelly
The fun continues at Seekonk Public Library with another outdoor concert event. Local and national favorite Atwater-Donnelly will perform on Wednesday, July 25th at 6:30 pm. All concerts are free and open to the public. One of our most awarded local folk and Americana acts is back for our Summer Concert Series! This revered duo has toured nationally and internationally, sharing billing with legends Jean Ritchie, Pete Seeger, and Doc Watson. With twenty four years together, twelve recordings to their credit, and inclusion in over 15 compilation cds, their repertoire of traditional American and Celtic folk songs, a capella pieces, and dance tunes, have earned no less than six Motif Magazine awards. Join us for another beautiful night of music out on the Meadows! You won’t want to miss out on this chance to hear some old favorites and discover some new ones. This event is sponsored by Friends of the Seekonk Public Library. In the event of rain, concerts will be rescheduled. Registration is not required for this event, but patrons interested in being notified about rain dates should register through the calendar of events on the library’s website at http://www.seekonkpl.org/.
