Y Gymnasts Try to Break Handstand Record

Y’s High Impact Gymnastics Academy will join forces with gymnastics clubs across the country to break the world record for most handstands held simultaneously today.
This is a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network. The community is welcome to be a part of this world-record-breaking event. All participants are asked to arrive at the YMCA’s Pleasant Street Branch by 12:45 p.m. to take their places on the mat prior to the 1:00 p.m. handstand moment. The Y will then host a post-world-record-breaking party for participants and their families. The Y will accept donations toward the Children’s Miracle Network, but donations are not necessary to participate.
