Robbins, 78, died in a crash in North Attleboro Monday.

Former Attleboro Mayor Judith Robbins was killed in a crash Monday.

Police said Robbins was driving in North Attleboro at about 2 p.m. when she struck a bus on South Washington Street, WHDH reported. She suffered a heart attack and died, authorities said.

Five people aboard the bus were hospitalized with minor injuries.

Robbins, 78, served as mayor for 12 years up until 2003 and was also president of the city council.
