KUTLESS'S 'BRING IT ON TOUR' WITH 7EVENTH TIME DOWN TO BRING MESSAGE OF HOPE TO NORTH ATTLEBORO ON MARCH 20

North Attleboro, MA – Dove Award nominated Christian rockers Kutless are set to bring their popular “Bring It On Tour” to North Attleboro’s Waters Church (21 John L Dietsch Blvd) on Sunday, March 20 at 7:00 PM. Joining Kutless on tour are chart topping rockers 7eventh Time Down as well as emerging artists Natasha Owens and Meredith Kinleigh. The tour is stopping in 18 cities this spring the tour will feature an uplifting mix of faith filled anthems and soaring rock melodies that is sure to delight and encourage all who attend.

When a band’s first priority is to declare God’s glory through song, it doesn’t worry too much about fitting into one particular genre of music. Perhaps that’s why some fans have alternating definitions of Kutless, the best-selling rock . . . no, worship . . . no, rock/worship hit makers from Portland, OR. On the inspiring new studio album Glory, its eighth with BEC Recordings, a perfect balance is struck as lead singer Jon Micah Sumrall, guitarists James Mead and Nick de Partee, and drummer Kyle Peek celebrate with electrifying abandon not their collective identity but the mighty name of Jesus.

Launched by original members Jon Micah Sumrall (lead vocals) and guitarist James Mead, the band formed first as a modern rock/worship band at Warner Pacific College in Portland in 2000. Kutless signed to Tooth & Nail/BEC in late 2001 and released its self-titled debut the following year, which went on to become the fastest-selling debut in the label’s history. They now have 12 #1 hits to their name along with nearly 4 million records sold, making them one of the most prolific Christian rockers of our generation.

“We love worship. We love rock. Instead of separating the two styles, now we just do worship songs that rock,” Sumrall says with a laugh. “I’ve felt that need myself for more upbeat songs as a music leader at church. There aren’t a lot of selections that come out swinging. Everyone can sing along.”

7event Time Down knows that the best songs are those that are heard when we need them most—the ones that become lifelines of truth in the midst of uncertainty. Enter “Just Say Jesus,” the powerful title track and lead single from 7eventh Time Down’s sophomore album.

“It’s way bigger than we are as a band. It’s way bigger than we could’ve hoped for because God’s using it,” offers lead singer Mikey Howard of the single’s resonance. The constant stream of stories from fans remind all four band members—Howard (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Cliff Williams (bass), Eric Van Zant (lead guitar) and Austin Miller (drums)—of the power of a song to impact lives. For the Kentucky-bred foursome who grew up playing music together, it’s a privilege to get to steward this song, as well as the others on their new release.

“I have come that you may have life to the full.” (John 10:10). For Natasha Owens, that verse isn’t merely a comfort or a pick-me-up… It’s a decree… A mantra for life… And it is the very thing that has turned her darkest days into a light that is too bright not to share.

Just four years ago, Natasha’s father died tragically and unexpectedly, sending Natasha into a dark world of grief. An invitation to serve as a music minister in her church was the beginning of her healing and led to the genesis of her first album, I Made it Through. Primarily an album of restoration songs, it soon caught the attention of music industry heavyweights, leading to performance opportunities with Michael W. Smith, Jason Crabb, Sanctus Real, plus multiple Award-winning producer, Ed Cash, who decided to jump on board for Natasha’s sophomore record, releasing Spring 2015. Aptly titled “We Will Rise,” it is a continuation of a journey of healing—from surviving to thriving. “The project took on a very clear direction,” she says. “I knew I had made it through, but it was time for more. It was just a stepping-stone. Rising above is the true message.”

Meredith Kinleigh, who has been involved with music ministry since she was young, currently leads worship each week at her father’s church. Her music career has included singing the National Anthem at minor league baseball games, co-directing and acting in local theatrical productions and singing as a soloist for weddings and other events.
