Nature in Your Neighborhood

Mass Audubon’s Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary is excited to present Nature in Your Neighborhood. Join Ecologist Jack Lash, Saturday June 18th at 8 AM at Coleman Reservation on Steere Street in Attleboro. Mr. Lash will highlight the natural history, birds, animals,plants and accessible communities common to our area. This is a free program sponsored by the Attleboro Cultural Council.

The presenter is a retired MA ecologist and educator for Mass Audubon with more than 30 years’ experience. Jack served on the Franklin Conservation Commission and understands the importance of protecting our irreplaceable natural resources. This program will foster an appreciation of local natural communities and the vital role they play in maintaining the ecological integrity of our ecosystems. Participants will also be introduced to the important roles played by Mass Audubon, Conservation Commissions, Local Land Trusts, State Agencies and other groups in protecting our natural resources.
