Obituary: Mildred C. Dukett

Mildred C. Dukett, 64, of Brookhaven Drive, Attleboro, a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton. She was the beloved wife of David "Floyd" Dukett.

Born in Lynn, on Aug. 15, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Gene and Flora (Dow) Woodworth. Mildred was raised in Lynn and educated in Lynn schools. She worked as a clerk at the Christmas Tree Shops and Walmart in earlier days. Mildred enjoyed working on arts and crafts projects and spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also travelled and lived in several areas of the country in support of her husband's career in the United States Navy.

In addition to her husband David, Mildred is survived by five children; Harvey Keene of Attleboro, Robin Keene of Attleboro, Scott Keene of Attleboro, Carrie Dukett of Attleboro, and Kelly Dukett of Attleboro, a sister; Jean Beland of Attleboro, 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 2, from 3–7 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, at 10 a.m. in the Second Congregational Church of Attleboro, 50 Park St., Attleboro, officiated by Rev. F. Vernon Wright, Pastor. Mildred will be laid to rest in North Purchase Cemetery, North Main Street, Attleboro.
