Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts

The Polar Plunge is the best day at the beach all year -- and it’s in the middle of winter! Every year Special Olympics Massachusetts’ brrrravest supporters are “Freezin’ for a Reason” when they plunge into icy Atlantic waters.

The 2016 Polar Plunge will take place on Saturday, March 5th 2016 at two locations: Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA and Revere Beach in Revere, MA. Register for either of the 2016 locations by visiting www.PolarPlungeMA.org. Fundraise on your own or with a team of friends, family, coworkers, etc.! Fundraising minimum is $100 and Special Olympics Massachusetts has a ton of tricks and tips to help you fundraise well beyond that!

The Polar Plunge is Special Olympics Massachusetts’ single-largest fundraising event of the year, raising to date over $3 million for our athletes. Here are just a few reasons why our athletes love Special Olympics:
