Spaghetti Dinner Cook-off in Attleboro

Second Congregational Church located at 50 Park Street, Attleboro is having a Spaghetti Cook-off dinner on Saturday March 25th at 6:00PM in their Fellowship Hall. The purpose of their dinner is to raise money for an emergency assistance fund for persons in need in the Attleboro area. Some of the finest cooks in the congregation will be competing to make the most delicious spaghetti sauces. Recipes will come from around the world featuring vegetarian sauces, beef and chicken sauces, and also white seafood sauces. Attendees will have the chance to sample each sauce and select the one they would like to have served for their dining pleasure. During dessert, the sauce that receives the most votes will be announced and the chef will receive a prize and bragging rights. The evening’s ambiance will be enhanced with Italian music in the background.

“What a wonderful way to have fun and help others at the same time,” said Glenn Weidner.

The cost for adults is $8.00 and for children ages 5-10 is $4.00. Toddlers are free.

The organizers are hoping for a big turnout for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship in a good cause.
