State Police K-9 Echo Tracks Suspects In Attleboro
Massachusetts State Police Trooper David Nims and Echo helped find suspects in an attempted break-in near Farmers Lane and Loop Way.
ATTLEBORO, MA — There was no escaping Echo for two suspects in an attempted Attleboro break-in on Friday. The State Police K-9 was on the job when officers were called to the area of Farmers Way and Colts Way for a reported break-in as the canine crusader quickly found the suspects in the backyard.
State Police said the K-9 unit was called to help search for fleeing suspects after they tried to break into a house. Echo was taken to the spot where the suspects were last seen, and Echo was able to track them to an area of bushes separating two properties in the backyard.
Echo alerted officers to the suspects' presence and darted toward them in the bush. State Trooper David Nims held Echo back as he ordered the suspects out of hiding. State Police said the suspects then complied and were taken into custody by the Attleboro Police Department.
