Traffic Alert: Calling Hours Tuesday and Funeral Wednesday for Norton Fire Lieutenant

The calling hours for Norton Fire Lt. Todd Jones will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and his funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5, so officials are asking residents to plan accordingly.

Calling hours for Norton Fire Lt. Todd Jones will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 9 Clapp St. (off Route 140, Taunton Ave.

Traffic delays will be likely in the area. The traffic pattern near the funeral home on Clapp Street will be one way and officers will be available for assistance.

Staging for the public safety and military personnel walk-through for the wake will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Wheaton College Pine Street lot. The walk through will be at 4:30 sharp.

On Wednesday, several roads will be closed in Attleboro for the funeral on Wednesday, including County Street from Pleasant to Railroad and Bank Streets.

Staging on Wednesday for public safety and military personnel will be held at 8 a.m. at the Forest Street parking lot. All personnel are required to be in place by 9 a.m.
