View Finder: Seeing Art Through the Eyes of Attleboro Students

Area towns showcase middle school artwork from the SMARTS Program.

The Southeastern Massachusetts Arts Collaborative, better known as SMARTS  has been providing art programs in conjuction with the local schools for 25 years. SMARTS Artistic Director, Sherye Weisz has had the privilege of coordinating the program since 1988. She is proud of the accomplishment's of the students and teachers. The first exhibition, at Fuller Art Museum  in Brockton in 1993 gave the teachers an opportunity to get together, share ideas and promote their students work at other locations including Attleboro Arts Museum.
