7/22/16 The Wild Reeds
Live at The Red Room at Cafe 939 / 8PM / All Ages / $15 in advance / $18 day of show

The Wild Reeds can be defined by one word: harmony. However, their music is nearly indefinable. The sound from this L.A.-based band, fronted by Kinsey Lee, Mackenzie Howe, and Sharon Silva, dips in and out of multiple genres. There's some ethereal folk, a hint of country twang, and some rock 'n' roll rhythm, but it all comes back to harmonies that create a new instrument, which is the root of the band's power. In the past year, the Wild Reeds have supported such acts as Noah Gundersen, Langhorne Slim, Della Mae, Run River North, and Nathaniel Rateliff, and they've made appearances at Way Over Yonder Festival, the Bluegrass Situation Festival, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival, Echo Park Rising, and the Claremont Folk Festival, among others. - See more at: https://www.berklee.edu/events/wild-reeds#sthash.2lUpJX6w.dpuf
