Become a host family to a student in the Back Bay

Hosting an international student can be an incredibly rewarding cross-cultural experience for your family and community.

HOSTING AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT IS A REWARDING EXPERIENCE.

Host families serve our global community by generously opening their homes to international students. Our students are bold and courageous in their decision to leave their home country for the exciting opportunity of studying abroad. Though they are confident students, they are still young and in need of a caring family to help them learn English, adjust to American culture and support them in their studies.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A HOST FAMILY?

An open mind and the willingness to welcome one of our wonderful students into your home for a 10-month academic year. Additionally we require that our host families provide a furnished bedroom, 2-3 meals a day (depending on school lunch programs), and reside within 30 minutes (public transportation is OK if available) of the student’s school.
