Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 NEC'S JORDAN HALL | 8PM

The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet was founded during the era of Herbert von Karajan in 1988, and is the first permanently established wind quintet in the famous orchestra's rich tradition of chamber music. Presented by Celebrity Series of Boston, this program will feature the Boston premiere of a new work by Kalevi Aho, composed in 2015 for the Quintet.
