Firefighters from Engine 33-Ladder 15 recently visited Top of the Hub to present a citation to the restaurant and its staff commending their ongoing support following the tragic deaths of Lt. Ed Walsh and Firefighter Mike Kennedy in March.

For nearly 20 years, Top of the Hub has prepared, delivered and served a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at the fire station on Boylston Street. Since the loss of the two firefighters, the staff of the restaurant has quietly provided additional friendship and support to the fire station and considers the brave men, women and dispatchers to be a part of its extended family.
