Boston Historical Reception

A reception at the Massachusetts Historical Society for the different Boston neighborhood historical societies

Wednesday June 10th 6:00 PM

MHS 1154 Boylston Street, Boston

Boston has a wealth of neighborhood historical societies. From the North End to the South End and from Brighton to Dorchester, Bostonians are steeped in hyper-local history and proud of their neighborhood’s identity. At the Massachusetts Historical Society we’re pleased to invite local organizations and the public for a chance to meet fellow history enthusiasts and to hear about great programs, projects, and exhibits in the city.

Our reception will feature presentations similar to the MIT entrepreneur challenge in which each historical organization will have the chance to give an “elevator pitch” or a 2 minute (and only 2 minutes) presentation on a project they’re involved in or just tell the audience something about their organization. For more information, please contact Gavin Kleespies gkleespies@masshist.org
