Police Respond to Suspicious Package Found in Boston

Police were called to Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood Friday after learning reports of a suspicious package found inside of a car.

Officials responded to the car, which was located at the intersection of Beacon Street and Fairfield Street. After a thorough inspection, police deemed the package to be of no threat.

The intersection was closed just before 12 p.m. while officials carefully inspected the package.

The area was not evacuated.
