For nearly a decade, Berklee faculty and alumni have provided support and encouragement to existing music programs. This includes teaching assistance, in addition to curricula, computers, recording equipment, instruments, and faculty development to help music teachers in giving these youngsters significant and early access to college-level training and preparation. Berklee also invests over $350,000 in the program, whose 29 teachers serve close to 1000 children in 17 Boston public schools and one charter school.

As an annual celebration of the end of a successful academic year, the concert will feature students from 10 of the 18 partner schools, who will perform a wide array of music, from pop and classic rock to jazz. Come support these students who will get the chance to experience the complex details of a professional concert, from sound-check to the green room. An awards presentation will follow the show.
Oh and did I mention it’s free? Celebrate the beginning of summer with these talented students alongside Berklee faculty and alumni.
See you there!
