One of Boston's most sought after makeup artists, Katrina Hess, is bringing a little bit of Hollywood to Fashion's Night Out, Boston's biggest block party kicking off at 6 o'clock tonight.
Hess is unveiling the Red Carpet Facial from Kinara Spa in Beverly Hills, an at-home facial treatment that helps stars like Halle Berry and Jennifer Anniston get ready to walk the red carpet.
The 3-step at-home facial is being offered exclusively at Katrina Hess Makeup at 115 Newbury Street.

Hess says people with all skin types can use this once a week or every day.
"This at-home facial won't leave skin looking red or irritated because it's buffered with antioxidants so it can be used the night of an event. Skin will glow and look fresh," said Hess.

What's in and what's out for fall makeup? Hess says red lipstick, matte eyeshadow and matte skin are in and heavily sculpted cheeks from last season are out.
Hess says red lipstick, purple and plum eyeshadows and tangerine lipsticks will be prominent on runways and in magazines this fall.
"Red lipstick should be a staple in every woman's makeup bag. There's a red for every skin tone," said Hess.
Hess, winner of Allure Magazine's Best Brows, says she thinks the biggest beauty mistake most women make is not having well-groomed eyebrows.
"Shaping the eyebrow frames the face and gives a much more youthful look," said Hess.
Hess, who has also won Boston's Best Makeup Artist three years in a row, is widely known for creating a bride's most beautiful look on her wedding day.
"This season brides want a more dramatic, sophisticated look for the big day," added Hess.
