BUILDING BRIDGES HOME: A CONCERT FOR CHANGE II

Live Classical music performances by talented musicians sharing their gifts in support of homeless neighbors in Boston

On Sunday, October 4th at 2:00 pm, Covenant will host the second annual “Building Bridges” concert to raise awareness and funds for the ongoing work of addressing homelessness in Boston. Last year’s first “Building Bridges” concert was organized in response to the sudden closing of the bridge linking the city to Long Island and the various programs that served some of Boston’s most vulnerable residents that were housed there. This year’s event will keep the focus on helping provide for our Boston neighbors who lack housing and other services they need to live healthy, safe and dignified lives. The free concert will feature musicians and singers of all ages performing pieces by a variety of 20th and 21st century classical composers. Church of the Covenant will accept financial contributions to be passed along to the Friends of Boston’s Homeless and the Women’s Lunch Place to support their programs.
