Catch Snarky Puppy at the Berklee Performance Center as Part of the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival!

Every year when the leaves change and the wind gets chilly, it means the start of the fall semester for Berklee students. But autumn also offers us one of the biggest events of the school year, the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival! This year, in addition to the free outdoor festival on Saturday, September 28, the festival comes with a few extra concerts. Head on over to the Berklee Performance Center this Sunday, September 29 to close the excitement of the festival with Snarky Puppy and jam out to some incredible fusion tunes.

The eclectic fusion band Snarky Puppy has previously wowed Berklee audiences at the BPC this past spring. Initially an underground musical group founded by award-winning bassist/composer Michael League, Snarky Puppy has grown from a small, Texas-based jazz and funk band to a Brooklyn-based instrumental sensation. Now with over 30 members, the group bases its music on live performances and is constantly touring, providing 200 performances for fans all over the world, frequently performing with artists like Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, and Justin Timberlake. At this concert, Snarky Puppy will perform their incredibly diverse repertoire featured on their live album/DVD Tell Your Friends and their award-winning DVD/CD GroundUP, as well as combine their pre-written compositions with live improvisation.

Tickets for Snarky Puppy on Sunday, September 29 at 8:00pm are $22 in advance and $25 day of show. Visit the event page here for more information about the show, and check out their video featuring Lalah Hathaway here. Hope to see you there!
