Celtics & Skywalk Host Early Thanksgiving For Local Families
The Skywalk Observatory and Boston Celtics partnered to host dinner for 15 families from the Boston Centers for Youth & Families.
Top of the Hub's Skywalk recently partnered with the Boston Celtics organization to host a special, early-Thanksgiving dinner for 15 families from the Boston Centers for Youth & Families. The Skywalk is located on the 50th floor of The Prudential Tower, at 800 Boylston Street in Boston's Back Bay. The celebratory, family-style Thanksgiving meal was provided by Top of the Hub’s culinary team.
Celtics guard Kyrie Irving (making his entrance, above) highlighted a group of 11 players and coaches joining the 75 BCYF guests for an afternoon of conversation, a sit-down dinner and thankful reflecting.
Those attending included: Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Jerome Allen, Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Jay Larranaga, Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Walter McCarty, Boston Celtics Assistant Coach Jamie Young, Boston Celtics Center Aron Baynes, Boston Celtics Guard Shane Larkin, Boston Celtics Forward Marcus Morris, Boston Celtics Forward Abdel Nader, Boston Celtics Forward Semi Ojeleye and Boston Celtics Guard Terry Rozier III.

Michael J. Edwards, General Manager of Top of the Hub and Skywalk Observatory, commented, “Thanksgiving is a time to join together and reflect on the many things for which we are grateful. On behalf of everyone at Top of the Hub and the Skywalk, we are delighted to work once again with the Boston Celtics to host some very special families and create a celebration to remember.”
At the end of the traditional holiday dinner, each family received a special holiday gift basket from the Celtics players.
