Copley Flair Closes After 35 Years

The unique gift shop has closed all three of its store locations.

Copley Flair, a quirky gift shop known for its fine stationary and decorative cards, has closed its doors after 35 years in business.

The store opened in 1976 at 583 Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay, and soon spawned two more locations downtown at 11 School Street and 176 Federal Street.  The Back Bay store closed down last month, while the Federal Street location closed on March 24.

So far, there is no word on what businesses will be moving into the old Copley Flair stores. The Boston Redevelopment Authority current does not have any projects listed for those addresses.
