Crossroads Presents: Big Black Delta

Big Black Delta is Jonathan Bates, and Jonathan Bates is Big Black Delta. You might occasionally find him elsewhere though, like playing guitar with the likes of Brandon Flowers, Brian Wilson, Brit Daniel, and Dhani Harrison during the appropriately named George Fest, celebrating George Harrison.

Bates began Big Black Delta in 2010. Thanks to help from Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails), he discovered the possibilities of producing music on a laptop and quickly set about building a new sound. In 2013 Bates released his debut album, Big Black Delta. He has worked with many artists since then and has recently released his second album, Trágame Tierra, as a solo artist under the moniker.
