On Saturday, June 7th, 2014 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM the Boston Center for Adult
Education (BCAE) is hosting a new
self-improvement class, “Developing the Whole U.” The one session class aims to help
students improve their lives from the inside out by promoting positive change
and balance both professionally and personally.
Instructor Shannon O’Brien, has over 15 years of experience in the
Holistic Healthcare Industry, including 6 years of work at MIT and Harvard
University. Through advising and educational programs like “Developing the
Whole U,” Shannon has successfully supported many different clients in all
aspects of their lives.
Based on Eastern
philosophy, personal development literature and positive psychology,
“Developing the Whole U,” begins with a student self-assessment which is used
to create an individualized wellness plan meant to better each participant’s
life mentally, physically and socially. From these plans, students can expect
to gain crucial time management and
communication skills along with the networking and effective personal branding skills necessary to excel in any
career.
