During the 2014-2015 academic year, Fusion gained unnprecedented access to the Berklee experience, following three students as they navigated a year at the college. Premiering at 10:00 a.m. ET on Monday, September 14 as a six-part digital series on Fusion.net and then airing at 9:00 p.m. ET on Monday, September 21 over Fusion’s cable network as a one-hour special, Listen Up: Making it at Berklee College of Music is the first series ever created to document the Berklee student experience through a journalistic lens.

Giving audiences a glimpse into Berklee students’ lives, the series shadows Kyana Fanene, a first semester student from California who is quickly rising among Berklee’s a cappella world while wrestling with homesickness; Mau Jimenez, a soon-to-be graduate from Mexico whose band needs to gain momentum within a year in order to acquire a visa to stay in the United States; and Alissia Benveniste, a last-semester student from Italy who is about to make the big move to New York City to pursue a solo career.
