Eleven Local Children Chosen to Sing "Rudolph" at Shubert Theatre

Eleven children from across Massachusetts and New Hampshire were chosen from over 30 entries to perform the holiday classic song “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” before the December 15th performance of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” at the Shubert Theatre.

The search for young carolers was an online submission process where parents submitted a video of their child singing the holiday classic, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” that showcased their creativity and holiday spirit.

The children from across Massachusetts and New Hampshire will sing on the historic Shubert Theatre stage the iconic holiday tune before a live audience. The children include:

Brooke Ibanez, age 5, from Easton, MA

Jeremiah Lakes, age 6, from Belmont, MA

Laila Louissaint, age 7, from Randolph, MA

Leana Louissaint, age 7, from Randolph, MA

Jake McAlister, age 7, from Derry, NH

Sophia McAlister, age 4, from Derry, NH

Harper Quest-Mercadante, age 5, from Cambridge, MA

Malachi Smith, age 9, from Belmont, MA

Cameron Alexander Wolf, age 8, from Somerville, MA

Stella Xiao, age 4, from West Roxbury, MA

“We want to celebrate the spirit of this show and the holiday season by showcasing young talented singers from across our area,” said Josiah A. Spaulding, Jr., President & CEO of the Boch Center. “This ‘Singing Celebration’ gives kids an opportunity to perform one of the most iconic holiday songs before a live audience in one of Boston’s most historic theaters. We hope this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these children.”
