Julie Klam grew up with dogs, but it wasn’t until she had her own as an adult – a Boston terrier rescue named Otto – that her love affair with canines truly began.
In Love at First Bark, the New York Times bestselling author of You Had Me at Woof returns with more humorous and heartfelt stories about how rescuing troubled dogs can result in rescuing ourselves.
After attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and interning at Late Night with David Letterman, Klam went on to write for such publications as O, The Oprah Magazine; Rolling Stone; Harper’s Bazaar; Glamour; and for the VH1 television show Pop-Up Video, where she earned an Emmy nomination. She lives with her husband, daughter, and three Boston terriers in Manhattan.
