Chemistry of Food Science Cafe

Calling all foodies, chemists andCambridge-y types: join us this Monday at the Chemistry of Food Science Cafe.

The American Chemical Societythe world's largest scientific society with over 164,000 members, is flying in their lead Chemistry of Food Webinar expert and world renowned food chemist Sara Risch, to speak at the Cambridge Science Festival's Chemistry of Food Science Cafe this Monday night April 23, 2012 at Think Tank Bistroteque.

Sara Risch is best known in Boston for her Chemistry of Ball Park Foods Event. In the same spirit of the ball park event, Sara will be talking about the chemistry of the actual food that is being served at the event-so Asian inspired cuisine is both the topic at hand and the food in the mouth. Trust me, you don't want to miss this special evening with the dynamic Sara Risch!

What is a science cafe, anyway? A science cafe is a social and educational forum where the local scientific community and the general public can meet in a relaxed atmosphere with food and drink and offer an informative presentation that engages the public and teaches them about critical issues involving the chemistry, science and technology that impacts everyday life.

If you go: Reservations required. Reserve your spot today using the RSVP link here.
