Emerson Stage's Tartuffe

Tartuffe
By Molière
Freely adapted by Charles Edward Pogue
Directed by Benny Sato Ambush

The inveterate con artist, Tartuffe, finds his mark in Orgon, an affluent man of unquestioned faith. With his faux piety and self-serving displays of virtuosity, Tartuffe charms his way into Orgon’s household and schemes to defraud the family of all they possess in Molière’s comedic satire on hypocrisy.
