Eric Stoller, Higher Education Blogger and Social Media Educator, to Speak at Fisher Forum Spotlight on Digital Identity
Fisher College is pleased toannounce that Eric Stoller, higher education blogger and social media educator,will discuss the concept of establishing a digital identity through socialmedia at Fisher College’s Convocation Speaker Series on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 12:30pm in the Alumni Hall at Fisher College, 118 Beacon Street, Boston. This event will be open to the public and free of charge.
Eric Stoller is a nationally known thought-leader, speaker, and consultant on using social media in higher education to create connections and enhance communication. As the former host of Student Affairs Live on HigherEdLive.com, Eric provided video-based professional development opportunities for practitioners.
Stoller is a former Academic Advisor & Web Coordinator for the College of Health and Human Sciences at Oregon State University. He served previously as a Marketing Specialist for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Eric has over 10 years of student affairs technology experience. Eric has been blogging for more than 7 years and is the Student Affairs and Technology blogger for Inside Higher Ed (IHE).

Stoller has given presentations on social media and technology at multiple Student Affairs events and is a former regional chair of the NASPA Technology Knowledge Community. He holds a BA in Communications/Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa and an Ed.M. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University.
