The Folk Arts Center of New England's 42nd year of "Folk Dancing by the Fountain" begins with live music by the hottest contra dance band in the country, Perpetual e-Motion. Nationally-known caller George Marshall, along with FAC's Marcie Van Cleave, will lead the crowd in contra and international dancing.
The event will happen rain or shine (rain location is at Old South Church, diagonally across the street from Copley Square).
It's free, and dancing will continue on Tuesday nights through August.
