This series explores contemporary complements to Mary Baker Eddy’s pioneering insights as a 19th century woman who challenged conventions of science, theology, & medicine. Presenters include women who break down barriers as spiritual caregivers; individuals who push the boundaries of societal expectations; and scholars who deconstruct longstanding perspectives.
Dr. Scovel currently participates in the Unitarian Universalist Spiritual Directors' Network. His book "Never Far From Home: Stories from the Radio Pulpit" comprises a selection of five minute sermons he delivered on Sunday mornings for a general audience on Boston's classical music station WCRB.
