Friends of Copley Square Hosts Rock and Stroll June 25

Evening kicks off in Copley Square with rock acapella group Peking and the Mystics, and picnic bag courtesy of The Catered Affair.

Friends of Copley Square, an organization dedicated to the preservation and beautification of Copley Square, is hosting its annual spring event, Rock & Stroll on June 25, 2015 at 6 p.m., according to a press statement.

The evening kicks off in Copley Square with a concert by rock acapella group Peking and the Mystics, and picnic bag courtesy of The Catered Affair. The concert will be hosted by WHDH’s Janet Wu. The picnic and concert is followed by a reception just steps away at the Boston Common Hotel at 40 Trinity Place in Back Bay. The reception includes open bar with cuisine from some of the best restaurants in the Back Bay including Ben & Jerry’s, The Catered Affair, City Table, Haru, La Voile, OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, Precinct, Smith & Wollensky, and Stephanie’s on Newbury.

The mission of Friends of Copley Square is to preserve and enhance the park as a recreational resource for residents, workers, and visitors in the City of Boston.

Tickets are $100 per person or $50 per person for young professionals (under 30) and can be purchased at focs2015rockandstroll.eventbrite.com.
