Ground Up is a Philadelphia-based hip-hop trio whose group members include producer Bij Lincs, whose eccentric style and musical talent complement the witty wordplay and thoughtful lyrics of the two MCs, Azar and Malakai. The combination of relentless work and a grassroots marketing strategy has enabled the group to accumulate fans while simultaneously releasing quality music. Along the way, Ground Up has grown notorious for its live shows, touring at schools such as Temple University, University of Virginia, Cornell University, Pittsburgh University, and Lincoln University, to name a few. Ground Up has also opened for renowned artists such as Wu-Tang Clan, Asher Roth, Rick Ross, the Nappy Roots, and Meek Mill, among others. With the help of their loyal fans, the strong team behind them, and their ability to stay creative, it seems nothing will stop Bij Lincs, Azar, and Malakai from making music their way, from the ground up.

Truey, a young New England rap artist, is heavily influenced by the styles of both Young Thug and Post Malone. With passion driving his every move, he has, impressively, created one song almost every single day at only 19-years-old. He recently opened for Slim Jesus and has also worked with various local artists, including JayyPusha of Coke Boys. With a profound love of music, he aims to create auto-tuned masterpieces.
