Hammond Offices are Collecting for the South End Community Health Center's "Great 2015 Holiday Coat Drive"

Three Hammond office locations in the South End, Back Bay/Beacon Hill, and Charlestown will serve as collection sites for the drive.

BOSTON (December 7, 2015) – Dave Stenberg, Regional Manager of Hammond Residential in Boston, recently announced Hammond’s participation in the South End Community Health Center’s “Great 2015 Holiday Coat Drive.” Three Hammond office locations at 10 Berkeley Street/ATELIER 505 in the South End, 66 Beacon Street in Back Bay/Beacon Hill, and 105 Main Street in Charlestown, will serve as collection sites for the drive.

Hammond is committed to supporting the South End Community Health Center and its mission to provide the highest quality health care and social services to every patient throughout the city, regardless of their ability to pay. For many people of all ages, a new winter coat or new winter accessories will help them stay warm, dry, and healthy in the cold weather.

To assist in this area, the three Hammond offices in Boston will serve as drop off locations for donations from December 1-20. In addition to coats of all sizes for both children and adults, the offices will also be accepting mittens, hats, and toys for the children. All donations should be new or gently used and dry-cleaned.

Hours for this special event will be Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekend collections apply to Charlestown and South End office locations only.

The “Great 2015 Holiday Coat Drive” was established by the South End Community Health Center to address the growing need throughout Boston neighborhoods to outfit pediatric patients with warm winter accessories. Dave Stenberg, who is coordinating Hammond’s office efforts in connection with the drive said, “As an individual who has worked in downtown Boston for many years, I am continually impressed with the quality of care and resources that the SECHC provides. There is a tremendous need to outfit the young with appropriate winter accessories, and we at Hammond are pleased to associate with the cause as drop-off locations.”
