The Humble / Dead Beggars / Low Key

The Humble, Dead Beggars, and Low Key take the stage at The Red Room @ Cafe 939 February 17th!

Starting in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburbs of Bucks County, alternative rock band The Humble has become known for their dynamic musicianship, progressive songwriting, and energetic live performances. The band gained a strong following through Temple University’s house party and campus bar scene. In the fall of 2013, they released their first full-length album, Curse the Weather, featuring Jordan Caiola’s soulful vocals and power songwriting accentuated by the technical and dynamic rhythm section of Shane Woods on drums and Nate Matulis on bass. After the release of Curse the Weather, the trio found themselves becoming popular throughout the Philadelphia music scene, playing notable shows at venues such as Underground Arts, Milkboy, and North Star Bar.

Dead Beggars is a four-piece Rock & Roll band formed in Boston, MA in the Fall of 2014. Combining influences that include the warmth and sensibilities of Blues Rock, the heaviness of Hardcore, and the songwriting styles of Pop and R&B, Dead Beggars has quickly developed a style and sound that is uniquely their own. Having just released their debut single “Until You Get It,” as well as a live video released in conjunction with Ugly Duck Studios, the band is gearing up to release their debut EP in March of 2016.

Low Key is an indie/rock band from Boston, MA with musical stylings meandering between genres with elements of funk, folk and spacey rock. Singer Kelsey Crawford, a Berklee alum, brings sultry vocals to the forefront, supported by additional vocal harmonies and interwoven guitars. After two years of writing and recording, their debut E.P. entitled “Ship Without An Anchor” is available now on Spotify, Itunes, Bandcamp and more.
