Le Cafe Gourmand with Franck Geuffroy

Sample delicious creations from a top French pastry chef at the French Cultural Center. Monday, October 19, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.

The French Cultural Center is honored to host a special goûter featuring the creations of École de Cuisine Alain Ducasse pastry chef Franck Geuffroy, on Monday, October 19.

Guests will be transported for the afternoon to a fashionable Parisian salon de thé and will have an exclusive chance to sample the delicious pâtisserie of Franck Geuffroy, Pastry Chef & Director at the École de Cuisine Alain Ducasse in Paris.

Café gourmand is a traditional French dessert, typically composed of a cup of coffee or tea served alongside a selection of miniature pastries at the end of lunch or dinner. As an homage to that practice, the French Cultural Center’s ballroom will be transformed into a cozy café with a buffet of various French mini-pastries including chocolate mousse, chouquettes, and other decadent surprises. Chef Geuffroy will make an appearance and give a presentation about his work and the pastries on offer at the event.
